Quick Write #4: How does the author develop one or more of the characters in this section (Chapter 6)? 

You have the choice of 1 of 2 options; Choose 1 only:

1. Characterize the hustlers, inhabitants of Harlem (this may or may not include Malcolm) as described in Chapter 6: "Detroit Red". Use your notes from class on direct characterization and your STEAL chart for help. You may also find it valuable to re-read portions of Ch. 6 (pages 87-94 and 104-110)

2. Characterize only Malcolm Little or his brother Reginald in Ch. 6: "Detroit Red". Again, you may find it valuable to re-read portions of Ch. 6: (pages 87-94 and 104-110).
