First read through (copy if you like the following definitions of words we highlighted in class yesterday)

noble-having or showing fine personal qualities or high moral principles and ideals; born of a high rank
ambitious (positive/Antony)-having or showing a strong desire and determination to succeed.
ambitious (negative connotation/Brutus)-greed and eagerness to get success--even through unfair means
honorable-worthy of honor and high respect; estimable; creditable

*Let's do the comprehension questions first from the packet pg.32:
1. That Caesar was too ambitious. He loved Rome more than Caesar or himself.
2. They feel the conspirators' reasons were just. They love Brutus. Caesar was too ambitious.
3. He wasn't there. He left Antony alone.
4. Caesar's will. They want him to read it to them.
5. The bloody body of Caesar. They are shocked/disgusted by the wounds and blood.
6. Money and land to make into public parks

*We will do questions 1,2,7. and 9 on the worksheet together (this passage is not on your handout, but starts in yesterday's reading pages 747-757)

*Lastly, complete the remaining questions and begin Quick Write #4 when you are finished (we will have most of the class period tomorrow after reading 3.3 to complete work you have not completed yet)
