Cassius tries to turn Brutus against Caesar by using flattery and highlighting Caesar's weaknesses
Brutus is not convinced and they agree to meet again to discuss what must be done
3) Ceasar, Brutus, Cassius, Antony, soothsayer, Casca
Scene 3--
1)March the 14; nighttime, thunder storm
2) Casca fears the storm is predicting terrible events to come; Cassius says it's a sign that now is the time to kill Caesar; Cassius and Casca agree that Caesar's rise to power must be stopped; they discuss how they will persuade Brutus with forged letters
