Example Paragraph

In the beginning of Act I, Macbeth is shown as a brave character. In line 16 he is referred to as “brave Macbeth” and he is also called “valor’s minion” (ln. 19) for his actions in the war. He is also described as being noble. King Duncan gives Macbeth the title of Thane of Cawdor for his nobility, stating, “What he hath lost noble Macbeth hath won” (ln. 67).
