1. Read worst student essay in the world and make corrections
2. Split-up into: "haves" and "have-nots"
3. The "haves" will be peer-editing, while the "have-nots" will be defending their poor use of time and decision making skills
4. We will look at the self-edit together: this will be done on the rough draft not the final copy! When you turn in the essay put all the pieces together: notes, drafts, the whole shebang!
5. Pieces to include are as follows:
Chart (5 pts)
Web (5 pts)
Outline (5 pts)
Drafting step (5 pts)
Peer/self editing sheet (5 pts each)
Rough draft (20 pts)
Final copy (50 pts)(if you email it to me please attach a note to your stack of papers telling me this)
