Write an essay explaining how Beowulf demonstrates the characteristics of an epic hero (in the notes). Choose 3 to 5 characteristics. Give specific examples from the 3 battle scenes (Grendel, Grendel's mother, the dragon), and/or The Death of Beowulf.
