Today we are going to get started drafting our essay. This is today's agenda:
1. Go to the OWL at Purdue page to set-up page 1 of your essay
2. Go over how to write an introduction with an OPENING SENTENCE and outline of main points, thesis, etc.
3. Go over how to set-up a body paragraph (body 1): TOPIC SENTENCE, TEXTUAL EXAMPLES, ANALYSIS, ETC.
4. Use your outline to begin drafting
At the end of class today you should have completed:
1. format
2. introduction
3. 1 body paragraph
