"The Best Sort of Husband" Response ---30 pts.

You will need to finish this assignment today in class if you want credit.
In the story "The Best Sort of Husband" by Susan B. Kelly, the author shows us two different views of what "the best sort of husband" is--the view of men, on page 293, and the view of Margaret on page 301.

Your assignment:
*Compare and contrast these two views and explain using information you know about love and marriage in this time period
*Explain the author's use of conflict and irony to show the audience these two views.
*You will need to use a minimum of 3 specific textual examples in your response.
