Ch. 11 "Saved"

Start with copying the following vocabulary words at the top of worksheet #5:
hermit (n.)--a person who lives in a simple way apart from others 
Faustian (adj.)--mad or done for present gain without regard for future consequences
machination (n).--plot or scheme
emulate (v)--match or surpass (a person or achievement), typically by imitation.
piratical (adj.)--a person who robs or commits illegal violence
opportunist (n.)--someone who immediately takes advantage of a situation to reap some personal benefits
