Quick Write #6: Analyze how style and content contribute to the power and beauty of Ch. 12
style- rhetorical devices (characterization, diction (word choice), conflict, setting)
content-what happens in the plot during this section
power and beauty-- How does it help him get his point across? How does it make the section memorable (lasting images or information)? How does it help strengthen the central ideas expressed (racism, identity, oppression, etc.)?
2. Read pages 196-top of 200 (Chapter 12 "Savior")
3. Questions 1-5 worksheet #6 (you downloaded it with worksheet 5 if not here is the link again)
4. Watch movie*
