2. Give a profound quote from Malcolm X that relates to your central idea
3. Give a general statement that introduces the topic
4. Ask your audience an intriguing question
5. Set the stage: give information about the time/place of events/person/main idea

*Use a minimum of 2 unit vocabulary words
