What we missed.............................

We are skipping a few chapters: We will begin on pg. 51 Chapter 13 and read through the end of 14.
All we are missing is more time spent at Netherfield with the Bingleys, Darcys, and Bennets (Elizabeth and Jane). The same of what we saw in the earlier chapters continues: Miss Bingley is rude to Elizabeth because she is jealous and keeps kissing up to Darcy, Mr. Bingley continues to take great care of Jane, Darcy and Elizabeth keep giving each other a hard time, the Bingley sisters continue to address the topic of Jane and their brother---she is very nice and sweet, but with an embarrassing and lower class family it just isn’t going to happen.

These are the study guide answers we missed for Ch. 10-17:
1.She is jealous because Darcy likes her and she can’t understand why since she is prettier, more accomplished and from a better family.
2.Elizabeth tells Darcy his defect is his “propensity to hate everybody.” (He tells her that hers is to misunderstand people on purpose).
3.Darcy feels it would be dangerous to pay her too much attention—he doesn’t want to get involved with her.
