-------------------------------------------Today's Agenda (after the above notes)--------------------------
1. STAY FOCUSED!! You only have today and tomorrow in class to complete the following:
*Finish anything you did not finish yet (source sheets, Works Cited, counterclaim, outline)
YOU SHOULD NOT BEGIN DRAFTING UNTIL YOU HAVE FINISHED YOUR OUTLINE and I have checked it!
Follow the outline as you write--it is a map to end up in the right place!!

2. Please make sure I (or a co-teacher) check your work and sign your sheet giving you credit for a rough draft.
*I will need to see a version of a rough draft in sign it in order for you to get credit. This should be completed before the Peer/Self editing sheet. A printed rough draft works too if you want handwritten comments by me.

3. Complete the self-editing sheet and place it in the folder--THIS IS MANDATORY IF YOU WANT THE POINTS

4. Complete the peer-editing sheet for 5 points EXTRA-CREDIT (make sure your editor signs their name indicating that they read your draft and gave you comments)

***therefore, there is a possibility of 10 extra-credit points**********************

5. Make sure you:
*Check the components of your assignment and portfolio
*Are keeping your portfolio organized and intact
*Print out any sheets you need printed

Sample of a counterclaim paragraph and a conclusion (this is the same paper from yesterday's intro and body 1):
