Quick Write #5: Aim to finish this today in class

Quick Write Topic #5:  Analyze how events in chapter 11 (pages 172-194) demonstrate Malcolm X’s development.

  • Describe Malcolm X’s development at this point in the text ----WHAT HAS CHANGED ABOUT HIS CHARACTER/WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNED ABOUT HIS CHARACTER
  • Identify significant events in chapter 11 that demonstrate Malcolm X’s development (e.g., beginning to pray, writing letters, acquiring “a homemade education”, joining the prison debating activity, and recruiting for Mr. Muhammad).
