Today we will: (please read and follow all directions)
1. Begin by reading on the bottom of page 17, "Meanwhile the state Welfare people kept after my mother,"
2. You will begin reading independently at the top of page 20, "It was better in a lot of ways at the Gohannases'" and finish off the chapter on the top of page 23.
3. Take your quiz by logging onto the online quiz page (Quiz #1 Malcolm X)
4. When you are finished, add on at least 1 more event from today's reading to your brainstorming notes for Quick Write #2 (same as yesterday)
5. Answer #2 on worksheet #2.
6. Complete the grammar worksheet on consistent (the same) verb tenses
PLEASE TURN BOTH THE GRAMMAR WORKSHEET AND WORKSHEET #2 BACK IN BEFORE YOU LEAVE TODAY--DUE TODAY IF YOU WANT CREDIT!!
