Please continue to work on your paper...
Unfortunately, I will not be in class today--not feeling the greatest. Please continue drafting the rough copy of your paper. You may also work on missed work (all assignments on the board due by Friday!!!) if you feel you are stuck and can't get any further without me. We only have Friday, Monday, Tuesday to type--so DO NOT WASTE TIME!!! I will check my email so message me any concerns you may have.

In the world there are many people who live in poverty, including in the United States. These people need the help of the government to provide them with the assistance they need in order to become productive members of society.
Thesis Statement (Usually the last sentence(s) in the introduction):
The best way for nations to increase economic prosperity is to increase aid to the areas of education, health care and technology. This is true because if these things are provided for those in poverty they will be able to better their lives on their own and end up helping the country as a whole.
