Hey guys---by now you've probably realized that I am going to be out--it was not planned for me to leave this early and a complete surprise to me. I had planned on being there until spring break but my doctor told me otherwise. Anyways, please keep up with your work while I am gone and put it in the drop box. I don't want anyone failing or losing points, but it is up to you to keep up with it. Work with a friend for help if you need to until (hopefully) you get someone in there that can help you out. 1. Why does Lydia want Mr. Bennet to take her to Brighton for the summer?
2. What news does Elizabeth hear about Ms. King and Wickham?
3. On pg. 189 it is basically Lydia speaking--describe her using at least 1-2 adjectives and give an example for each as support.
4. On pg. 190 Lydia is described as someone who "seldom listened to anybody for more than half a minute"--what do you think this says about her and her personality? What can do you think this may foreshadow about her future?
5. Look at the last paragraph of ch. 39 on pg. 191---what topic was under "frequent discussion" by Mr. and Mrs. Bennet? Who seems to be going along with it and who seems to be resisiting?
